Fleet Transport Consultants Ltd is committed to conducting its business with the highest ethical standards. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all our activities. We are dedicated to complying with all applicable anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws and regulations.
Bribery: Offering, promising, giving, requesting, agreeing to receive, or receiving anything of value to influence a decision or action. This includes money, gifts, hospitality, discounts, or any other undue advantage.
Corruption: The abuse of entrusted power for personal gain. This can involve bribery, but also other forms of dishonest or fraudulent behaviour.
This policy applies to all employees, directors, officers, contractors, agents, and any other person acting on behalf of Fleet Transport Consultants Ltd.
We strictly prohibit the following:
Offering, promising, or giving bribes to any individual or organisation.
Requesting, agreeing to receive, or accepting bribes from any individual or organisation.
Engaging in any form of corruption, including extortion and embezzlement.
Authorising or directing others to engage in bribery or corruption.
Failing to prevent bribery or corruption where it is within your power to do so.
We may offer or accept gifts and hospitality in the ordinary course of business, provided the value is reasonable and does not create a conflict of interest or the appearance of impropriety.
We will maintain a register of all gifts and hospitality offered or received.
Facilitation payments (small bribes to expedite routine government actions) are strictly prohibited.
We will maintain accurate records of all transactions and dealings with third parties.
We will provide training to all employees on this policy and their obligations under anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws.
We encourage all employees to report any suspected breaches of this policy. Reports can be made anonymously through our whistleblowing hotline or to a supervisor, Human Resources, or any member of management.
Any breach of this policy will be investigated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. We may also be subject to legal penalties.
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains effective.
